Consideration for the environment, efficient utilisation of resources and continuous improvement form the basis of Finnveden Metal Structures’ environmental work. We are certified to ISO 14001 and also require that our suppliers work in accordance with an environmental management system.
We work with environmental assurance in all stages from inquiry to delivery, partly by adhering to our quality assurance model in all types of project. Needless to say, our operation complies with prevailing laws and requirements, but in addition we also strive in a goal-oriented way to reduce our resource utilisation in terms of materials, energy and water consumption.
We have a highly advanced position in the development of new, lighter materials, thereby contributing to lower fuel consumption in the automotive industry. Active environmental work, therefore, also provides a competitive advantage for Finnveden Metal Structures, but in addition we have a social responsibility to ensure that our own production is conducted with the lowest environmental impact that is practically feasible and financially viable. We therefore always work with continuous improvement in order to optimise our processes.
